The first tractors I ever drove was a Oliver 550 and a Cockshut 1600

A lovely collection of an interesting make

A bicentenial Cockshutt just feels wrong. Why would a brand almost ecclusive to Canada, have a patriotic American model?

Thats Awesome

Beautiful collection! Fred knows quality! 😃👍

Looks really great. A pretty collection with many tractors in absolutly prefect condition.

Very nice collection. I wish I still had all the Olivers and Cockshutts that I had over the years but I think the one I'd like to still own would be the 550. As far as I'm concerned, they were the best small utility tractor of the era by a mile. In fact, I think the entire "50" series was far ahead of any other tractor made at the time.

Thanks for the "other" Green post Machinery Pete.

i love my 550 ,very nice collection

Very nice collection. My uncle has a 770 diesel that needs a little work. They also had a Super 77 diesel that was a fun little tractor for pulling hay wagons around the field. It wasn't too fast so it was perfect to teach the little ounces to drive.

anyone know what the spring looking assembly on the rear wheels (between hub and axil) of the Cockshutt 1950-T is? Almost looks like it could be used for a torque absorber or something! Nice looking collection, but he needs a bigger barn!
