My first job was in 1964 working on Haylocks Farm where the cartwheel was made for and my first car was bought from the Mechanical Foreman Mr Stan Willis from Cleales gararge a MK 1 Consul. I worked for Joe Curtis the butcher while at school in the Slaughter house at the back of the shop. Great memories of a lad from London Mike Patton [Jingles]

Thanks for posting this great piece of railway history...was a great line,should never have gone...so many lines lost..such a disater for Haverhill`s community at the time. Maybe one day it will be reinstated..lets hope so?
