Thank you for this video! And thank you to all the people that are not ignorant about the dairy industry. I love my job and I love my cows!

this is so fucking fake hahahaha
-
Joke. Cows normal life span is 25 years. Dairy cows life span 3-4. Oh what a happy life.

I wonder if slaughterhouses are as fun as these farms seem to be. "I just like cows, always have" ha. I like raising them, artificially inseminating them, forcing them to give birth and then taking their calves away, forcing them to produce an unnatural amount of milk everyday and all year round until they are wasted and sent to slaughterhouses to be brutally killed and sliced up for cheap beef.
These farmers can like cows all day long but they do not respect these animals. Milk comes from mother cows who were forced to become pregnant. That is enough for me to say "no thanks, I'm vegan".. P.S. Almond milk doesn't come from sad almonds, and it has not been linked to cancer... -
Lol, yes, a cleaned up farm to make it all look cosy. Tell that to the mother cows when they have their children taken away the day after being born. Dairy farming is not all lovey dovey like this in reality.

Hey Fuck Heads! How do they make that milk? What has to happen first? Oh, those mama's have to give birth first. Oh but wait! Where does the baby go?! Male goes into small crate, fed low iron diet so that it may be slaughter for veal 8-16 weeks later. Awesome!!! So nice of you! Yes, humans need that milk soooooooo much more than those precious babies. & dairy is good for you? Are you fucking kidding me? You are completely fucked in the brain. PEOPLE get fucking educated...This BS!

Each dairy is different. Good grief, people. If the farmers mistreat their animals, the animals don't produce. True. Some farms have had abuse. But this Ohio group seems to be portraying themselves accurately. I've toured a lot dairies in UT, ID, WA, OH, WI, and MA. They are all different, but all trying to make a living. And it IS hard.
-
Not all milk is the same, their is a difference between breeds and species.

May comment made by people that have no clue. These are the new dairy farms, no more 50 head herds and yes chewing cud is a sign of comfort for cows. Do some research before you make comments. Real farms grow crops, today farmers grow thousands of acres with gps computers. Do some research before you make comments.

My Aunt and Uncle were Dairy farmers in Northeast ohio, and their children took over from them. They operate a small farm, and are very in tune with their animals. This is a little sugar coated, but pretty much spot on with what I was exposed too growing up. And to anyone who says this is not real farming, has never seen a dairy farmer hard at work!
-
@TBhorsegirl I'm sorry but this is false. There is a video that is the most disturbing thing that I have ever seen in my entire life! An ohio dairy farm brutalizing cows and calves. here is the video, but I will warn you that it made me sick of my stomach. watch?v=gYTkM1OHFQg&feature=player_embedded

What are they trying to prove? No body has visited the dairy and seen if the cows are being fed or being beaten for cause and no cause. Talking of cause no cause would justify their udders being poked or they being poked in their stomachs with hot irons. The owners just show their pretty faces. We do not see the close ups of the cows or their udders, I'd like to pay a surprise visit to this farm with their consent and report on it.
