Today we are in the Bronx on the IRT White Plains Road line at West Farms Square–East Tremont Avenue station. This is an elevated station, opened in 1904, and it is served by (2) and (5) trains. Right after the station the tracks cross the Bronx River in a tight curve before entering East 180th Street station, where the routes of the (2) and (5) trains diverge. The elevated structure here is in pretty bad shape and rather rusty, which makes for a great atmosphere. Just north of the station one can also see the abandoned structure for 180th Street–Bronx Park, which had been the original terminal of the White Plains Road line. Enjoy!
