Look into the Needham ag seed tabs instead of the flimsy and short Oem ones, they don't have the issues leaving seed on the surface in heavy residues and last much longer. I have one of your old 1895 drills and have found a few areas in which to make the 90 series openers perform better.

it is not a good farming. You dont care for environment. Why use chemicals?

We have been doing this for 30 years in Texas Panhandle and the soil health has been improving over the years. NT into CRP by strip coulter to cut grass crown and place 10-34-00 made for the saving the benefits gained in 25 years in CRP grass. This past August we got over 10" of rains and now the subsoil is filled down to over 6 ft. for the next summer crop. The soil is structured so well that we had no rain runoff.

Spraying round up and leaving the land fallow are not good practices at all.

Roundup and GMO's....
-
John Simpson. Where do you get your information? That is a huge lie.
-
Running tractor up and down a hill... and finally - Roundup! Crap. So much attention to the detail of the machinery and so much negligence in principles of working on the land... I'm outta here.

terminate organically and soil biology will increase even more. Glyphosate is 2nd worse for soil biology out of leading 7 herbicides...or just do it for Jesus, that's how he would farm.

Stripper header. Great idea.
