LOTS MORE INFORMATION DOWN HERE ... ... I've got an awesome new blaze farm here! It brings about a much needed change to the dated way we currently handle blaze in survival! I also want to give a shoutout to Melody479 of the CubeKrowd server - she was working on a design very similar to this one!! Be sure to check hers too! TIME REFERENCES Step One: Stopping Spawning @ 0:28 Step Two: Frame Building @ 1:25 Step Three: Piston & Redstone @ 5:22 Step Four: Crushing Blaze @11:42 EXTRA INFORMATION: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Blaze REQUIRED BLOCKS: dirt, melons, solid blocks, glass, slime, packed ice, signs, sticky pistons, redstone, repeaters, comparators, redstone torches, levers, wooden button TROUBLESHOOTING: 1. ONLY MELONS AND PISTONS SHOULD BE TOUCHING THE SLIME! 2. Check the direction your repeaters are facing and their timings. 3. Don't leave a large amount of blaze in the container area when you log out, they might glitch out side & kill you. 4. Use fire resistance potions to safely build this farm 5. Nims you can use glass and have light near the spawner because blazes can spawn with any light level :p

I made this but used obsidian instead of melon blocks, just thought it would look cooler with the nether brick that I used for the rest of it. only trouble I'm having though, the slime blocks won't retract all the way, leaving a 1 block gap that the blazes are getting stuck in.. any suggestions?

Has anyone got this to work on PE? The second to last piston is not retracting. I think quasi conductivity is a bit screwed up on PE, so my torch won't turn off.

next time you make a tutorial pls do the math for how many slime ball / melon needed etc. pls :) like shopping list :D

If the blazes are killed in 1.11 by the crusher change two of your repeaters to 2 ticks instead of 4

for me, the blazes straight away rise up out of the hole, so you cant get many in there, and than just start killing eachother at the top

On the TU47 update for PS4/Xbox One, the blazes bounce up when the slime blocks hit them, so this isn't working anymore.

I have a problem, I have been building and rebuilding (while following this tutorial step by step) this farm and yet each time I get to the redstone portion, i mess up somehow. The 9 slime blocks will only go out and in one block, not four. Like I said, I have been following this tutorial to a t.

33 Redstone Dust
15 Redstone Torches
28 Repeaters
6 Comparators
13 Sticky Pistons
30 Slime Blocks
1 Button
1 Sign
8 Packed Ice
115 Melons (or other non-stickable blocks)
242 Dirt (or other junk block)
~ 7 Stacks of building blocks (I recommend 9+)
58 Stained Glass (For Window)

My Blaze don't take any damage from the crusher. what am i doing wrong?

Can someone be an angel and tell me the number of repeaters, sticky pistons, and slime blocks required?

For some reason, my lever only shuts off the middle pusher. The left and right continue to work regardless of lever position. Thoughts?
