April 14, 2010 has been declared the first ever National Bookmobile Day by the American Library Association as a part of the National Library Week celebrations. Join Ryan for a tour of the Greene County Public Library Bookmobile. The bookmobile began service in 2002 as a way to introduce elementary school students to the library and to the pleasures of reading. It is stocked with multiple copies of high-interest reading material such as picture books, popular fiction, beginning readers, nonfiction and magazines. The bookmobile also participates in local events, and in the summer visits parks, summer school, library book sales and even the Farmers Market! The Greene County Public Library serves Greene County, Ohio with locations in Beavercreek, Bellbrook, Cedarville, Fairborn, Jamestown, Xenia and Yellow Springs
