Free money from the taxpaying sheep... OH JOY!

Yeah that could have been my county but some of the county gov screwed it all up now nothing so I am doing biomass pellets myself

If miscanthus after the third year is capable of yields of biomass that can produce 3,200+ gallons of ethanol per acre, that represents nearly $5,200 of biofuel per acre. That is much higher than the yield for corn and does not remove a human food crop from distribution. But the politics of big AgriBusiness that looks to quarterly profits then a crop that requires years to reach optimum yield is unlikely to be pursued in America. Oh, well.

As described, miscanthus can be collected and processed into fuel pellets with suitable pellet mills and pellet plants. The ash content of these miscanthus pellets is higher than wood, however the cost per ton will be significantly lower than premium wood pellets.
