Farms: Mirungi (Khat) growing booms in Butambala

Butambala is one of the districts in central Uganda once known for coffee and ginger growing. But the once treasured crops are becoming extinct as Khat commonly know as Mirungi gains the upper hand. Farmers here say the leaf stimulant is far better than coffee and has transformed their lives. The Butambala residents shared their experiences with NTV's Julius Ssenkandwa.
