This is a proof of concept for an automatic wheat farm that does not require you to replant the seeds. One push of a button lets you collect your wheat out of a chest and go on your way! A villager automatically replants the seeds and gets locked up before he can break the grown wheat. This build has a locking/unlocking door, water dispensers on a hopper timer, a sorting system to separate the wheat from the seeds and an item elevator that pushes the seeds to the surface for the villager to collect and plant. i am on PC windows 10, and the item elevator does not work??? is there another way?

tried it on PS3. Everything works great, but the elevator doesn't. Did everything exactly as described, but all of my seeds stay stuck on the first fence piece. Some of them go further till the second fence, but none of them goes up.
Very Occasionally some go up. -
It's clever how he used the villager to replant the seeds. I would never have thought of that :0

so we could build this without having the villager right? i was planning on doing this on prisoner servers, and faction servers that dont have villagers at all. if theres another way where something can replant the seeds for someone automatically, tell me. but im sure that wont be here for a while.
