4. this is very inefficient because pigmen spawning relies on the number of portal blocks,not the amount of portals,so the 23x23 designs are more efficient than 10 of those modules

10. will i build a big 23 by 23 and i dont think it works as good as this design
    
    and thats 5 23by23s.... probably because im relying on them dying on hoppers rather then killing them with my loot sword...

12. this design is less efficient than large portals. Pigman zpawning depends on the number of purple portal blocks not the number of individual portals. also, with large portals there are less trap doors and fewer ledges for them to get hung up on when they fall. Additionally, going huge is a bad idea. Mobs get a limited period of AI (5sec, I think) and then can only continue to walk if they are within 32 blocks of a player. As a result going too big will sliw rates down.
