Farms: Minecraft bug report - Messed up Slime spawning (ENG) (1.8-Snapshots)

Hey guys, today a bug report. The problem mentioned in the video also affects normal slime spawning in the overworld. To explain it short: In the latest snapshots the algorithm for slime spawning does not check if medium or big slimes collide with blocks, therefore they can spawn within block. This causes the following problems: - small slimes fill up the Mobcap - less Zombiepigmen/WitherSkeletons/Blazes are spawning - farming skulls/nuggets/rods will become a lot harder - the Nether will become a lot easier since those mobs will spawn very rarely - a lot of gold farms and ALL WitherSkeleton farms will break in 1.8 If you agree with me that this should be fixed as soon as possible: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-49577

In my survival world for the snapshots there's chunk that isn't saving....as soon as I reload the chunk all my progress is gone:(

Its probably intended, i dont think mojang is crazy about farming

probably would have been fixed faster if it didn't break gold farms/wither farms ;) with mojang irrationally hating all automation that doesn't fit their too narrowly defined goals

Derp, there was me assuming it was intentional. Had to redesign my farm to kill the 2x2 slimes/suffocate the 3x3 slimes. :(
