The melons/pumpkins won't grow.

In less than one day, 5 of these farms harvested 6 whole stacks of pumpkins.
Confirmed works on WII U Edition(make sure to sneak/crouch place when placing hoopers into chests). -

Make sure to put a block in the hopper and make sure that the melons are getting sunlight

the pumpkins are not growing for me it will grow on the left when i dont want it but wont grow on the right even tho theres dirt on both sides, when i block off the left side the pumpkin does not grow any suggestions?

Another bud-powered block. I thought it was only pistons that did that. Still, very complicated machine for something that can be done dead simple in 1.11 these days. ;) Thanks for the tutorial!

so i have mine set up right but it will not detect the block moving back into the hopper... any sugestions

Troubleshooting:
Item must go in the hopper first. You can't just shove it in the *dropper*.
Must be a *dropper*. Not a dispenser. This ain't TF2, son.
Don't block off redstone dust if you're trying to cover up the redstone wiring.
*ON SERVERS*: May need to /unlock some chests, hoppers, etc.
Not very Stackable. You could if you wanted to, but... -
