4. Ce pilote l' a bien en main , ce qui suppose quelques heures sur la machine . Le Bf 109 n' avait pas une réputation de facilité . Mais ,vu le rythme de vol en opération, les jeunes pilotes qui avaient survécu aux premiers contactes devenaient vite à l' aise si ils n' étaient pas trop vite tués. Au travers des documents qu'on peut consulter aujourd'hui , on découvre à quel point les formations étaient rapides en temps de guerre quand le besoin met la prudence au rencart . Sur B17 , des Cpt avaient moins de cent heures !

Sin ninguna duda el caza más producido durante la segunda guerra mundial, pero siempre quedará una duda en la mente de los aficionados a los aviones de este período de la historia, y es qué hubiera sucedido si en el Tercer Reich se hubiese decidido por la opción de adoptar al He100D como caza principal, y es que el avión mencionado, sobrepasaba en mucho al BF109 adoptado por aquel entonces como caza principal.El He 100D era mucho más rápido, mucho más ágil y tenía una autonomía mucho mayor que la del Bf109.
   El He100D tenía una velocidad punta de 670 km/h, mucho mayor que la de cualquier caza de la época y 80 km/h más que la del Emil, y en cuanto autonomía, 400 km más , en cuanto armamento calaba el mismo.Dicen que fueron los contactos de Willy Messerchdmitt con los jerarcas nazis y su amistad personal con Hermann Göering los que pesaron más que las buenas propuestas y los resultados de los prototipos de los hermanos Heinkel con Ernst a la cabeza.

20. I absolutely love the bf 109. Truly a pinnacle fighter for the age..under appreciated in my opinion. I know they always said the rolls Royse merlin engine was best ...gee could you imagine that inside the bf 109 ??? :D
