Farms: Major drought conditions getting worse in Massachusetts ~ September 2016

Today (9/10/16) we took a nature walk at Mass Audubon Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick Ma. We checked out a trail we have never been on before. Our first stops were to the two boardwalks. The water level is extremely low,,, many areas are completely dry. Some of you may remember my video I posted earlier this summer of the Turtles I saw from the Boardwalk. This is the worse drought in Massachusetts in 14 years. I am very concerned for all the wildlife and plants. I have never seen it this bad. This drought is causing major crop damage for the farmers in Massachusetts. I pray we get lots of rain. http://www.necn.com/news/new-england/Worst-New-England-Drought-in-14-Years-Worsens-389181651.html Please Subscribe, Like, Comment and Share: You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NaturesFairy My Second Channel: Biking Away https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfgDmWTZuHBlJxcyai0HBWQ You can find me on: Facebook Gluten Free Page: https://www.facebook.com/SharingGlutenFreeRecipes My Blog for all my Gluten Free and some Low Carb Recipes: http://sharingglutenfreerecipes.blogspot.com/ Instagram: http://instagram.com/sharingglutenfreerecipes/ Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/naturesfairy/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/NaturesFairy Goggle+: https://plus.google.com/u/0/104572512004936962263 Tumblr: http://sharingglutenfreerecipes.tumblr.com/ Thanks for watching, Peace ~ Love and Joy Always be humble ~ Always be kind Brenda ~ NaturesFairy Broadmoor Address: Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary 280 Eliot Street Natick, MA 01760 http://www.massaudubon.org/Nature_Connection/Sanctuaries/Broadmoor/index.php Major drought conditions getting worse in Massachusetts Mass Audubon Broadmoor Severe Drought Conditions Massachusetts Extreme Drought Massachusetts Wildlife Suffering Drought Massachusetts Drought Worses Massachusetts Drought Condtions worsening Massachusetts Plants Suffering Drought Massachusetts Natick Ma Massachusetts Audubon Society Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary Low Water Levels No Rain Massachusetts Drought is severe Massachusetts Dry wetlands Massachusetts Dangerous Drought Massachusetts Historic Drought Massachusetts Worse Drought in Massachusetts Nature Nature Walk Massachusetts Green Frog Painted Turtles Massachusetts Turtles Massachusetts Frogs Winterberry Winter Berry Dried Berries Dried Plants Wilted Plants Plants Dying Vegetation Mass Wildlife Connecting with Nature Praying for rain Wetlands Dried Up Drought Massachusetts Summer 2016 Drought September 2016 Massachusetts Summer Drought 2016 Worse New England Drought in 14 years New England Drought Camera: Nikon CoolPix S9900

Yeah, funny, I've been telling people for years now that in maybe 5 years there ain't gonna be any fresh water left around here. RI has all the streams, reservoirs, scotts pond, and most of them are WAY down low. Too many people, way too much chemicals, shampoos, pollutants are in the ground and earth, so the waters are drying up. It's like payback for not caring about the envirement enough!!! Oh, on the bike path all the bug snappers are somewhere else there this spot but now its been dry for over two years. It was awesome to watch them play atleast 4 of them with all the small ones.

Well done, thank you. I grew up in Natick (1950s - 1960s). Remember lots of rain, many hurricanes, back then. Hope this clears up soon.

Never seen a sign like that for ground wasps before. Cool that they do that, much better than walking right through it without knowing lol. Have a great week!

Hi Brenda, So sad to see everything drying out. I hope with all my heart that you get some rain soon. I wish I could send you some of the rain we are getting. ☺♥♥☺

Wow so sorry the drought continues - hope you get some Autumn rains and lots of snow to recover. We have had enough rain - not too much but enough - had big thunderstorm w/ hard rain this am but then lots of wind which is very drying. I have small garden pond and have more frogs this year than ever before - not sure why but we love them!

It is very hard for the wild animals, nice sharing my friend Have a nice Sunday :-)

That is terrible, we were dry early in the summer, ground had deep cracks in it. We have had lots of rain this past month, it seems that most of the storms veer north or south after they come through here. Praying for rain for you.

Wish I could give you some of Michigan's rain fall~We have had to much! Hope you get some soon!
