Join me for a visit to the Longfords Farm on beautiful Lake Okareka New Zealand, just outside of Rotorua.

I was intrigued by what you said about getting free hotel rooms, and accommodation in return for services like photography, web design, and so on and I was wondering if you have a blog or webpage somewhere which goes into those experiences in more detail? For example in the b&b's in NZ were they feeding you as well as putting you up? Were you finding enough offers of places to stay that you had somewhere 7 nights a week most the time? And were there any particular services that were more popular than others? Id love to try something like that.
I am also wondering if the reason you did a youtube video for this particular stay was because, as you mentioned, they didn't ask for anything specific (i.e. maybe you were thinking something like "what can i do to thank them for this lovely stay, and decided to combine your own video record of your stay with a video to showcase the place for them)?

Is that (video) something you found any other accommodation providers wanted you to do...like a mini doco on their business..?

And did you ever get any free accommodation where they wanted photos, or video or a website to promote their place, but the place was actually, really dirty, or overpriced, or they wanted to showcase their food but the food was terrible... Or some other thing that would make you never want to stay there as a paying customer.
And if so, what did you do? Make something up or be honest with them?
did you go to the geo thermal mud bath?
