From the farm in Elkhorn, WI, to the shelves of your local Jewel-Osco, see how Oberweis milk goes from the farm to your table in this episode of Something Fresh with Jewel-Osco. In honor of June being National Dairy Month, we visited 3rd Generation Dairy Farmer, Leo Hurtgen, and his son, Adam Hurtgen, to show you the local land that your Oberweis milks come from. Leo and his son take pride in caring for their cows and the quality they produce for Oberweis and for our stores. You can taste the difference in the quality and that’s why we love dairy and why we love locally grown products.

Love Oberweis and love Jewel!
Do you take children away from your wife before they are fully weaned, milk your wife and sell the product? When your children are able to feed them selves, do you sell them to strangers who castrate the boys, feed them until they are obese, and send them to a slaughterhouse, or force impregnate the girls and repeat the cycle?
Farmers do an important, critical job, but it's ridiculous to say they treat livestock like family.
