Straight up I was raised on that 90's Hardcore and Gangsta' rap. I'm talking a range from Nas to Nastas, Wu-Tang to the original Thug Life, Pac and B.I.G to Proof and Big Pun, Eminem to The Dre's, Jays, Puffs and all that shit that came with Snoops day, Jadakiss to Early KRS, Ol' Dirty down south to Ludacris but I ain't never heard new school rap, I skipped on Eminem after his Encore, and the Infamous lost they draw after Shook Ones, took some of that underground Delinquent Habits, singing with Fat Joe and shit. All those 90s rappers I only fuck with. But I liked this, a lot.

LiL Dicky is what the game needs. you will save the rap genre. please don't give up. this shit is straight fire just like the rest of your music.

Playing mortal kombat like a wombat gave him a fatality stole his money so he had no salary

This song is literally amazing, I've listened to some other versions including the original, but I keep coming back to this, Lil dicky manages to capture his struggles, desires and his natural capabilities for music comedy, and specifically rap in one giant metaphor, his flow is crazy and his ability to incorporate the rhyme scheme in a way that still keeps people intrigued and able to follow and listen to the song multiple times without a hook or chorus makes me have so much respect for him, I just hope he brings more tracks like this into his next album

So from my understanding he is russell westbrook the court is rap and the farm was him going to school and working in advertisement when he started rapping he was trying to get better ( just a way to kill the time when the farming was done = he would rap after work for fun or as a hobby) and then he quit his job and started to get into the game and compete with other rappers ( when he talks about getting on the court and playing against the goats) but managed to keep up and gain respect ( he turned the animosity to respect) and continued to grow bigger and get more money ( all the things you can get up in the league is so apalling) however he lost sight of his past (who taking care of my farm)

"Greatness aint about Cake"... He killed it and shots fired.
