3. sometimes i wish i was a kid then. I'm obsessed and infatuated with this time period. i have been since i was about 5. when i was 8, i dressed as an colonial child from a dress that i got in williamsburg. I'm not sure why I'm so obsessed with it but thats what even drew me to this video. everything about it sparks a feeling in my chest. love it.

9. I think I would rather be a kid today because back then you had to sleep on floors and you would be hot in the summer and cold in the winter

12. +XNormalProductions you describe my sentiments perfectly. We owe the world to those who helped preserve these pieces of history for us back then. I might agree that many years from now there may not be nothing nostalgiac about the social media era but who knows. Maybe 100-300 years they might be looking back at us. Although since it's so easy to store information nowadays I'm with you on the idea that the past is more innocent and glamorous to us now than our present time will appear a hundred years from now.
