can i use 100% extra virgin olive oil

Tried making up some Soap from Extra Virgin Olive Oil like in this video. It never turned white. It perhaps is a light trace even after 10 minutes with the stick blender. Hours later it is in the mold and still a soft gel. I am to understand this can be normal? It is also creamy now but still green. I am to understand this can also be normal? Thanks for making this video.

I noticed you use Pyrex jugs and a pot, are those ones that you use exclusively for soap-making or is it safe to use them in the kitchen once they have been washed? Does the lye not 'affect' the kitchen 'vessels'?
How long till the lye is (for sure) no longer active (in the soap)? What will happen if you use it before then? -
Is this soap good for hair? I really want to know bc I'm trying to stop using shampoos.

how much per bar did it cost you??

Plastic bottle fr mixing lye solution is a mistake. It could have melted.

Totally brutal!

Great job. You are an effective teacher, giving a lot of information in a short amount of time. I've been making soap for some time now and I just checked back with your video because it's the one that made it seem easy. Thanks again.

so easy and simple . very well explained !!

Never use glass container for lye or lye solution. Lye reacts with glass.

omg ,there are much easier ways to mix your lye ,what you did is dangerous, please don't ever put a cover on a plastic bottle with lye in it.
