Farms: Lacy at D Acres Organic Farm in NH

We're filming a movie at D Acres Farm in Dorchester, NH [ http://dacres.org ] on permaculture and forest gardening. A lot of people, including your humble filmmakers, are beginning to believe that not only can this type of farming bring marginal land back into production as a local food source (you may want to think twice before you make plans to earn your living farming in this way), but that it may become an important part of the local food production picture during the next two decades. Lacy, the young woman who speaks so articulately in this interview, was near the end of a two month internship at D Acres, and expresses her surprise at how radically her understanding of farming has changed.
