I love that you're critical of our consumer culture! One thing that really opened my eyes and made me stop shopping was the documentary The True Cost. Definitely worth checking out. It's on Netflix. It also made me very cognizant of which stores I choose to shop in. Plus, the money you save when you only buy what you actually need makes the higher quality and better sourced clothing affordable! It all works out :) quality over quantity
