경애하는 김정은원수님께서 운곡지구종합목장을 현지지도하시였다 주체 101(2012).8.5 Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Marshal Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, provided field guidance to the Combined Stock Farm in Ungok Area. He first visited the beef cattle breeding farm. He looked round all modern processes of the farm to acquaint himself with the production of calves of good stock needed by cattle farms. He said that it is necessary to breed more cattle of good stock high in viability and productivity in order to rapidly increase the production of beef and milk. Then he went round the pig breeding farm. While going round its inside and outside, he learned in detail about the breeding of pigs. Breeding livestock is essential for stockbreeding, he said, underscoring the need to minutely organize the work to preserve and improve the characteristic features of pigs. He then went to the goat house. He watched with keen attention goats and sheep of new species, faster in breeding, higher in gaining in weight and higher in the quality of chevon and mutton than local ones. He said the goats and sheep being bred on the farm are good species of high economic efficiency, calling for steadily pushing forward the work to breed and propagate those goats and sheep of good stock to suit the actual conditions of the country. What is important in stockbreeding is to take thoroughgoing measures to ensure feed, he noted, underlining the need to successfully create pasture to produce more edible goats and sheep. He also underscored the need to solve the issue of feed by working hard to create artificial grass fields on an extensive scale in addition to pasture. He also visited the Institute for Domestic Animals of Good Stock of the combined stock farm. He said that it is most important to energetically push forward scientific researches in order to put stockbreeding on a scientific and industrial basis. He called on the farm and the relevant units to take measures to send various modern equipment needed for scientific researches and provide researchers with advanced scientific and technological information in good time. In order to keep animal production going at a high rate it is necessary to develop scientific researches into this field, take proper veterinary and anti-epizootic measures, steadily improve the control of equipment and technical management and consistently raise the level of employees' technical skills, he added. Noting that the combined stock farm is one of the important stockbreeding bases supplying a lot of domestic animals of good stock to other farms and producing tasty and nutritive meat and milk, he set forth important tasks which would serve as guidelines for operating the breeding farm. He called for realizing without fail the wishes of leader Kim Jong Il who worked heart and soul in his lifetime to provide the people with more meat, eggs, milk and other nutritive subsidiary food, expressing expectation and belief that all units would turn out in the drive to develop stockbreeding in hearty response to the Party's call for breeding grass-eating animals in a big way. He was accompanied by Choe Ryong Hae, Hyon Chol Hae, Kim Pyong Ho and Hwang Pyong So. -0- North Korea (DPRK - Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea) Nordkorea (DVRK - Demokratische Volksrepublik Korea) Corea del Norte Corée du Nord Koreańska Republika Ludowo-Demokratyczna Корейская Народно-Демократическая Республика Kuzey Kore كوريا الشمالية 조선민주주의인민공화국 朝鮮民主主義人民共和國

I know what people gona say about this video... They breed they're own kind. LOL
-
I dont care what people say about N korea. these farms also exist in the west and I hate to see that pigs are locked up in cages where they cant even turn around. and cows that are tied to a fence no grass to eat.
-
poor pigs.

The narrator sounds like he'e being held at gun point. Then again, he probably is.
-
You are ignorant. Find out what theoretical communism actually is.
-
Oh yes the fabled "real communism" was never implemented, LOL. How was Maoist China pseudo-communist? There was no property and everyone under the "Great Leap Forward" worked on collective farms and industrialization, meanwhile all art and culture is destroyed. There you go. That's communism. It turns human beings into machines, into objects of the state.
-
Um.... "imperialists" are not allowed into North Korea. How on earth can they intervene? Besides, you yourself are an imperialists. You are from the USA.
-
Fat boy feasts while everyone starves. Same old story of pseudo-communist countries.
-
The narrator sounds like she like an orgasm when she speaks.
-
nice to see the farm looks all green. I would like to see a green and happy north Korea without foreign threats and imperialist intervention.
-
The difference, serifovicrules, is that DPRK starvation is provoked in very large part by the regime's economic and agricultural policies, although natural disasters worsen the situation. So no, it's not the same thing.
-
Haaaaang on. Y'all Americans forgetting that thousands sorridly die each year from either direct/indirect starvation? Yeah. That's right, it happens around the world, not just in the DPRK.
-
Lousy excuse. They can trade as much as they want with China and Russia (they get much of their oil supply from China for instance), and they waste so much money on the military. The failed rocket launch recently is just one example.
-
Why are you so unfriendly? Perhaps because you know deep inside that I'm right? If this was such a magnificent country, then why would the World Food Program provide food for 6 million people? They only come to North Korea if they´re asked to come by the North Korean government. And don't blame the embargo. North Korea spent more than a billion dollars on the failed rocket launch recently. That would have provided the whole country with food for years. That's just one example of mismanagement.

Wow, some milestone!
