The reason why South Africa is busy with the idea of land redistribution on racial lines is because black people were killed by whites people and expropriated their land. the government is trying to redress this unfortunate history. The current policy is willing buyer willing seller. where the willing farmer can sell land to government for the redress. The extreme left party that suggests expropriation of land from white farmers without compensation only represents 8% of the population of the country. 20. What is also important is money! You can't run a large agricultural unit without money to pay the workers and buy and repair the equipment. Give land to people with no skills and no money and you basically have fallow land! South Africa has no money, the economy is dead/dying- good luck on that idea!
