Kelly talks about the importance of a healthy diet and nutrition while learning about sustainable farming. "Food for me is about being able to know first-hand what I'm working with and where it comes from so that I can educate more people about it. This is a product that is so healthy for people and is going worldwide. You can tell it's an honour for them to be growing this plant."

Fan of Chia here too! But when one does large mono-cropping like that, then pesticides, insecticides and fertilizers follow, and YOU GET TO EAT THEM TOO. Best is to do bio-diversification. Using plants that are natural pest and insect-REPELLENTS that would work for Chia. It's a lower yield per acre of land but its much kinder to the soil and the human who eats the plants growing from them.
