Vethi is a traditional irrigation method, mainly used in kerala especially in Malabar region.A simple device usually made of wood like a lengthy-handled dust pan.It is attached to three bamboos bount together with coir.There is no electricity required to operate this device.This methiod mostly used in Paddy fields.
