Spread the word! Many people are not aware of where their food comes from. Migrant workers around the world travel to the harvest and provide most of the fresh foods for countries around the world, but these same migrant workers are disadvantaged, living a 3rd world lifestyle in a 1st world country. This is just a glimpse into their mostly unacknowledged lives. I'm proud of this... $100 camera (the hardy Playsport!) and a netbook!

Theres just no way an American will take those jobs. they would require at least 20+ an hour plus a lot of other benefits. on top of that the employer would have to worry about being sued by a dishonest worker trying to get some $$$. Plain and simple Americans are spoiled. they can whine about them losing jobs to immigrants but they would never take them.

Most of the people out there on the migrant camps are Indians and Mestizos, you won't see the white-hispanic elite of Mexico.
Mexico is a highly racist society, condemning those at the bottom to live in misery or immigrate to the U.S.
Write to your congress to demand the Mexican government live up to the democracy they claim to have. End political corruption. Create a society with equality, and end racism. -
Invisible America my ass. We as American's allow this shit to take place. American's should be out picking those crops. Do you know how many people are on assistance in the U.S? If a Mexican gets 17.00 an hour for picking crops. Don't you think they're some legal American's that will pick those crops for 17.00 an hour? Hell yes! Mexican contractors have gotten into dominating the veg. in America and hire nothing but Mexicans. It's not America that's doing this shit. It's Mexican contractors. A Mexican contractor will not hire a white man, or woman to pick their crops, or care for them. My husband worked for Roberts Farms in Richgrove, Calif. and lost his job to an illigal mexican because they worked for less. They couldn't speak a bit of eng. but they came here and took my husband's job from him in the 70's. We had to move from the farm's house...Why did they let my husband go? Because they sold out to a Mexican contractor who hired nothing but illegal immigrants. Wake up America! This is bullshit!

Hmm. I am a White American. I started picking strawberries when I was 5 years old in North Planes Ore. I can't remember not picking some sort of fruit of veg. in the 70's until they passed the child labor law. We were dirt poor. Lived in MANY migrant camps. We called them Strawberry camps, bean camps. Not one Mexican lived in a camp. consisting of at least 12 one roomed cabins which usually housed a family of 7. 5 kids, and parents. The camp shared out houses, a wood pole, wood stove in each cabin. No running water, just in the community shower. We stayed in the camps for free while we picked the contractors crops. Not one black person, not one hispanic person, not any color but white people lived there. From Ore. Calif. was next. Oranges, grapes, potatoes...again, we lived in what Calif. called Labor camps. Free or low cost rent while we picked the contractors crops. There were myriads of WHITE people who picked crops for this Country. Not Hispanic, or Black. I can guarantee any of you that I picked more cotton than any of you did. I picked more potatoes in Calif. More strawberries, cut more grapes than anyone of my age. I worked my ass off for free. I was the slave. I worked for nothing until I got old enough to get the hell out of dodge. There's millions of poor white people just like we were that would take care of the fields. We don't need any one from out of the Country picking them for us. In Calif. A Mexican gets 17.00 an hour to pick crops. We got 60 cents a flat for strawberries in the mid 70's. I don't know what Mexican's are bitching about or anyone else. Throw some poor ass American folk in those fields. They'll work them for 17.00 an damn hour. Shit!

Meanwhile, Cubans come here in millions, just walk to the border and say I'm cuban, show some kind of id and VOILA!!!
They receive the welcome package immediatelalyreen card, welfare, section 8 housing benefits, healthcare , education, .
The good thing is they won't take your jobs, they don't have to. Go to Miami and see it for yourself, they just spend their time playing domino in street cafes -
Great job Logan!!!

The problem is the lack of technology to replace these workers with robots and machines
-
This is slavery, plain and simple.

This is modern day slavery.

Nice video, yeah, I remember some years ago I read an article which pointed out illegals did the jobs no one else wanted to do, in the crop fields, at the butchery, taking care of your garden for some bucks, then a few months ago I read a guy at Storm Front offering to take care of your grass for free in order to ruin illegals' chance to get their money, now I wonder, how many guys at Storm Front would offer themselves to harvest lettuces and make some cow cuts for free for 20 or 30 years of their lives in order to stop illegal immigration?
