Farms: Ikea Invests in Wind Farm to Power Stores

Ikea has invested in a wind farm in Illinois to power its stores although the retailer has said that the farm will end up producing significantly more electricity than their stores need. As a result, the company will sell the electricity on the open market to get back the money that they spend on the energy and then some. More multinational corporations should follow there lead, the technology is already here to allow companies to take the necessary steps toward sustainability, misconceptions of profitability seems to be the only thing in the way
