Farms: I want lifetime employment (just not with you): Mark Peters at TEDxMuskegon

Mark Peters is the Chief Executive Officer of Butterball Farms, Inc., the nation's leading producer of embossed and specialty butter and margarine for the hotel and restaurant industry. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Calvin College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Davenport University. In this talk, Mark discusses how a community based collaborative effort could provide reliable employment and ongoing development for individuals while reducing employer costs relative to employee turnover. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
