Saddam Hussein, the former Iraqi president, was executed on December 30, 2006. His death, like his life, was filled with controversy. Saddam Hussein was born into humble beginnings, but his straightforward, brutal efficiency eventually propelled him to power. By 1979 he had absolute control of Iraq, and had become a prominent figure on the world stage. I Knew Saddam was first broadcast on Al Jazeera English in 2007. - Subscribe to our channel: http://aje.io/AJSubscribe - Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AJEnglish - Find us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/aljazeera - Check our website: http://www.aljazeera.com/

he was backstabbed by the U.S
-
Lol that Dude should fix his Bookshelf before he presents it as background to look more smart in TV ;)
-
This is an unbalanced account of his life, Al Jazeera falls again short of meeting the professional journalism. This man is a role model for many in the world, he is an inspirational leader who will be remembered generations to come.

mk ultra'd by the US

-
and then they (american kabal) find some traitors to spoke against all that is good, now under demoncracy good people are killed and criminals are put in high political positions

9:48, that poster in the background is legendary.

The biggest mistake Iraq made was murdering its young king Faisal II back in 1958, the Hashemites being descendants of Mohamed could have kept both Sunni and Shia together, Iraq could have had a Parliamentary system similar to Jordan while maintaining a firm sovereign , perhaps functioning as a non-sectarian ceremonial religious figure to keep order.
-
There is zero mention of what he did to the Kurds in 1988
-
He abused the Money and Power
-
Imagine how different Iraq would be today if he was still in power, when he was in power Iraq and Iran had several battles against each other and they were fighting to become Great Powers in the Middle East but after Saddam got taken out by the USA and the country invaded now its a shadow of its former self with Nouri al-Maliki being a weak former leader to guide the country after Saddam. Nouri al-Maliki was seen as a puppet of USA and easily controlled by Iran in negotiations.

Saddam Was Less Brutal Than Britishers Who Committed More Brutalities During Their Imperial Rule Now They Talk of Justice! They Should Hang Queen Also For Killing Millions of Innocent People And Raping Poor Women And Murdering Children? Remember Massacre Committed At Jalianwala Park By Shooting In Cold Blood Hundreds Of Innocent Women Kids Men?
