New York City may be a bustling metropolis, but in one corner of Queens exists an historic farm that grows all organic produce. The farm has a museum, farm tours, and events year round, but Farmer Kennon Kay invites me to stop by and learn about a very unique crop - the ground cherry.

ground cherries are one of my favorite snacks that I pick up at the farmers market! it's like a party in my mouth!
