the building systeme in rome 2 is by far the worst of all the total war title. and wtf is up with these shitty cell phone game icon
-
You sound like that court mage from skyrim
-
Can someone explain me how getting more food and bigger production center is supposed to make people angry and cause unrest ? The logic of this is so stupid...
-
I was expectin so much from this game and all i got is a shitty mechanics in population happiness and in armies
-
Make some garrison army in cities, they make public order too...
-
What I try to do in this game is I try to make every single minor settlement as balanced as possible.
I made an all farming community for my Empire, but that settlement was razed to the grown. What happened was my entire empire was in a hunger strike, so just avoid putting all of the most critical structures in one settlement, try spreading them out, to be self reliant. -
This game = massive fail and the most unintuitive pile of shit ever.
-
I just have tons of mead halls and religious buildings lol rather then squalor when they are fully upgraded they can do things like +12 to public order completely canceling out another buildings squalor.
Why would you only build dirty farms and large cities lol XD besides these buildings have other good effects like increased culture spread and more veteran troop recruits. -
I just finished the hannibal campaign using syracuse.. I captured rome and moved north then westward taking spain eventually. Rome had escaped to south africa and stuck to themselves.
Took me 395 turns and in the end 4 of my 12 armies had to be kept within marching distance of all my own capitals as they were forever quelling rebellions. I upgraded every building to full along the way, some would be fine for whole game, others would riot every turn. Even in the later half of my match i decided to change the most troublesome towns but it still didn't stop the rebels.
The benefits of upgraded towns makes it worth surrendering 4 army's to 'local patrols' for whole game, But its most definitely an absolute pain in the ass. They must be funded by NATO to because if you don't quell one quick they turn into amazing hard fighting little armies! -
thanks it really help me
-
Omg you do need to upgrade city's its important it give you more good thing then bad.... :(
-
Because peasants hate food, that's why.
-
Calm yo tits man, im not working for sega nor creative assembly, haha, anyway i am pissed as much as you do since the whole game is pretty stupid and imbalance, though im having some bit of fun.
-
That's stupid and it's not realistic at all. It's just a bunch of imagined bullshit to explain away what a shit job they did trying to balance the buildings. I mean first even if your argument were valid, and it's not, why the fuck would the effect of more pollution from cows be a total negative on public order, and no increase in public order occur from having all that extra milk cheese and beef and animal labor which made europeans really happy and acted as a basis for commerce and festivals?
-
Well the developer said they want to be as realistic as possible on the game, squalor is another term for pollution on ancient times, Bigger Farms = More Food = More cow Sh*ts, Bigger Army = More Troops = More Man Sh*t, and so on, you get the idea.
-
Thanks man!
-
that is well explained than the other videos thanks
-
Try to reduce food consumption, limit buildings that consume food.
-
problem is then food starts running thin
-
you are too right
