I've built these farms before and they work great however I started a new world recently because of all the new updates and I'm having a big problem. Signs do not behave the same way anymore & I cant place a sign on a sign anymore. this is causing big problems with water flow and I cant build the filter at the end right. Any ideas?

When you remove torches, place Glowstone in the ground, slimes spawn in light and this also prevents other mobs from spawning, also Slimes will still spawn on glowstone

will it work on y:21 instead of y:12 because I have a massive lava pool between the y:20 to y:11 im pretty sure. so will ig work still

Now with the new update you could put hoppers down so you don't have to be down there to collect the slime balls
