Everything about these inefficient structures is big, big and bigger. They are not about protecting nature, just about subsidizing blight in a vain effort to maintain modern society with (barely) less carbon. It takes huge amounts of energy (fossil fuels) to build and install such gigantic structures. I hope America doesn't follow Europe's route and this remains one of the last offshore "farms" ever built. Land-based turbines are out of control enough already.
