I loved this video! I am 32 now and am in a successful career but no passion for it. My wife and I will be financially independent and live off of our investments in 9 years (god willing) and at that point we plan to quit out jobs and buy a small farm to live on and grow our own food. You're living the dream sir. Of course I also know that if you depend on the farm for a living its a whole different story since our farmers are having a hard time surviving these days. Good luck!

very educational and inspiring. Thank you for doing this video. I hope to have the same perseverance to run my own little homestead soon. Thank you for the warning not to expect it to be easy.

Great vid. Nice setup and many clever ideas.

Your place here is lovely and your animals look very happy. Had you grown up with your parents or other family farming? No one in my family has farmed since my great grandparents, though my grandma and dad helped and my grandma grows some veggies. It seems like such a disadvantage for me having not grown up with it.

Thank you for this video. it was very informative to my future needs. I have 4 beautiful acres with flowing water source. At this moment I am building the infrastructure to support, animals and crops just like what you have in your very good video. Thank you I learned alot.

how is the water system for the pastors working with the goats in there did you put the piping under the dirt or do the goats just not mess with them

Great video Mike. Nice to see someone who cares about the comfort and well being of their animals. Keep up the good work.
On a side note, poster below mentioned something about " the way you talk". Having been born and raised in Maryland I realize your "talk" is simply normal :) -
A very interesting tour, Thankyou

sorry if there was something here you did not like to see. i did the best i could to keep everything up and running with the time i had everyday. we have sinced moved to a larger scale where 100% of my time is deticated to my farm. Every homesteader will battle something i guarantee, and learning to work it out is farming.
