This is an old home movie from the 1940's which I had converted from a 16mm film. The footage shows some really nice nostalgic farm footage of a family farm located in New York State.

Thank you. This is a great look at what life must have been like for my family on our upstate NY farm. Our farm was fully mechanized by 1930, though.

gonna move down in the country and get a farm and try and live like they use to in the 1940s idec xD this time looks so fun (hard.. but fun) to live back then.. like people acthally made memories and not just sit at home and on their phones or just push a button on something and everything was finished, while just sitting on our a$$.. it really sucks living in this time period.. it honestly does.. no one does anything anymore and no one cares for anyone but them selfs anymore.. no one has no pitty or sorrow.. and we are all greedy now.. and honestly its really sad..

We are very spoiled in today's world. It's sad to think having all the material things will never give you what these people had. They were strong and knew what was important and how to survive. Notice not one out of shape child, even the young knew how to use their hands.

Couldn't help but notice how thin everyone look, I realize junk food was not around. No muscle tone on any of the men.I have seen old pictures of my family,most who lived in the cities. They looked the same also.Anyway watching this was a very good experience thanks.

Thank you so much for sharing! I just love watching old movies! It always puts a smile on my face. If I could take a train back in time I would jump right on and have it take me back to the 40's! I think I was born in the wrong generation!

Today most young people growing up will never experience demanding farm work. When America was much more rural this type of work was a part of life . Now we allow illegals to come across our southern border to do our tough farm work, we Americans have grown to soft.

I wish i was born in this era, yes it was tough but so am i, today we live in a world of shit, technology sucks, simple is better.
