Very cool video Eric and Chad. I'd like my next AR build to be a 25-45 Sharps. Sounds like a rifle length 20" barrel is the way to go for retaining those velocity numbers. Thanks for all the cool vids. I doubt I would ever have been interested in this caliber if not for you guys testing it out. Too bad it wasn't available for our troops in Vietnam! (Charlie Smasher)

I guess your hog problem isn't as bad as it is here in Oklahoma. We take as many as we can when we see them. The damage is just too much to the land and we can't seem to get ahead of it.

According to Texas Parks and Wildlife scientists, we would have to kill 70% of the feral hog population by the end of the year just to keep their numbers where it is today. Hogs are classified as an exotic which means they can be hunted year round, no restrictions on size or bag limits and hunted at night with lights. On the plus side they taste good and get enough hogs they will fill a freezer. Smoking works as well.
