http://gmofreeidaho: We recently a fabulous Idaho farm in Hagerman, Idaho. It was unlike Idaho Farm I have seen before. I'm talking about bananas, figs, and citrus being grown right in Hagerman, because of the wonderful resource of geothermal water. This is an outstanding look at Geothermal farming on a farm that is growing and expanding with new ideas. James Reed, owner of Onsen Farm, is turning his farm into an educational eco-village where anyone can come to work and experience this one of a kind operation. James is working on creating an economy that is self supporting and helps those who come and work on the farm. No money is involved. It is a matter of exchange in abundance. The goal is a 10 Member CSA Farm where people can fish, live and work in the green house and on the farm. All of the water systems on are on a flow system that create the heating system. It comes down to supporting the local farmer and take responsibility for the food we eat. Sustainable Agrigulture is sustainable. It can be beautiful and attract people to a perma-culture. Thanks James for the tour. It was a pleasure to hear you ideas and see a successful CSA farm in progress. Leslie Stoddard and Eric Brandt - GMO Free Idaho
