There is still snow on the ground, but our crops are still growing! Our greenhouses protect the plants, and our CSA shares will be available in March. http://lanayferme.com/main/

What keeps the plants from freezing? Just the housing or do you have external source of heat?

What kind of plastic is over the tunnels?

Clinton Felsted, this is awesome! I was just researching into having a greenhouse and saw the video link, and there you were! How much time are you spending here in Utah vs, your other places? It would be fun to come up and take a look at what you are doing when you are around. Kevin Anderson

We don't need to perform any maintenance to our high tunnels during the winter. The plastics that cover each high tunnel is essential to extend our Fall and Spring growing seasons. If we needed to repair anything on a high tunnel, we would wait until the plastics were taken off.

how do you give maintenance to the domes, when the snow fall.
