HA! We drove past it too looking for the same thing as you John, LOL. Glad it's not just me.

It can vary and I will say I was babysitting my Mom's garden and we have snow peas over winter and they are doing great, there are 3 on there now, as the plant is getting bigger. CRAZY!
-
We just went to a solar class here John and we got some chicken eggs and when they open mid march we are headed back, soooooo excited! Love this place. Thrilled yu had a vid on it. Hope to see you soon.

I was told that Gilcrease no longer produces "organic" vegetables and fruits. Somewhere along the line, they decided to use pesticides. It's sad, too, because the old man, Bill, told me that they farmed organically. Too bad.
-
Well, I live in vegas and I have grown snow peas in winter which adapted to spring heat now, and garlic,cilantro,quinoa,beefsteak and roma tomato,emerald okra and spineless okra,bell pepper and jalapeno,lentils,mustard,eggplant, and onion without protection,but this may vary. Its just me.
-
Also, they have apple cider doughnuts( a must taste) and already grown fruit trees and many types of veggies.
-
If you are looking for a big organic farm go to Gilcrease Orchard. Its miniscule compared to what it used to be but its open aired. I will go to cowboy trails farm too.

Very interesting video thank you!!! We are also going to utilize an aquaponics system along with permaculture at OneCommunityRanch (a .org) so I cant wait to see the progress with their system once it is established. Really appreciate all your videos that youve put out. Ive seen quite a few now as I am gathering info for our community. They are very informative and inspiring Thank you!

@tubeexcellence no I haven't. Do you have a membership?
-
@tubeexcellence Try Garden Farms in Las Vegas. They install raised bed organic vegetable gardens in your own backyard. They make it easy for you to be successful in having your own vegetables all year round. It really is a great opportunity to share with your son and his friends as well!

John, thanks again for another inspiring video. I love your shows about growing food in challenging places. I agree - educate the kids. My boys know that eggs come from chickens and tomatoes come from plants. Keep up the good work!
-

Once a city boy a 4yo boy came from the city with his parents to my farm. I turned to him and sayd " Miguel this is a chicken, they lay the eggs" and he sayd " No, your wrong, I see my mother and eggs come from the supermarket" This is a huge problem! Nice video. :-)

JOHN: IN REALITY MOST DON'T GET TO GO TO ALL THE COOL PLACES THAT YOU DO! SO I WANT THANK YOU FOR EXPANDING OUR MINDS, AS TO THE ENDLESS POSSIBLITIES IN GARDENING! IN ENGLAND GARDENING IS A WAY OF LIFE - HERE IN THE U.S. IT'S FORGOTTEN FOR THE MOST PART. SO PLEASE KEEP TRAVELING AND EDUCATING US. THANKS AGAIN - F R GONZALEZ
