This video was made by Chelsea Calhoun who was the Greensgrow marketing intern in 2013. Chelsea majored in journalism at Temple University and is an extremely talented young woman that was a pleasure to have on the team last year. We wanted to share her work with you as well as what she had to say about her experience at Greensgrow. . . When I started in May 2013, I never imagined how much I would learn or how inspired I'd be by the positive, hardworking spirit of the Greensgrow staff and volunteers. This video project, which I completed as part of my experience, represents an overview of how Philadelphia's premier urban farm got its start and where it is headed. I hope you can learn something new from it about the Greensgrow story. Interning for the Greensgrow Philadelphia Project was an unforgettable experience, and I will feel forever grateful to have been a part of the organization.
