Back in the 1960s, Honey Hill Orchards was a family hobby with only 20 apple trees. Today, the orchard is a fall apple-picking destination. Whether you pick them yourself or purchase them, every apple sold is hand picked. Those not fit for selling are used to make apple cider and cider donuts, turned out by the onsite bakery all season long. A lot of love and work goes into running this full-service operation that also features honey bees and honey, pumpkins and a petting zoo for the kids. If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, the #EverydayHeroes at the Honey Hill Orchard are keeping plenty of medical professionals at bay. See what they do with the harvest from 2600 apple trees.
