Plz help in mcpe the baby chickens jump into the lava into the lava how do I fix!!
-
Mcpe 1.0, when the water is on the baby chickens get hurt by the dispenser shooting at the half slab, which causes them to jump into the water and drown.
-
I followed your directions and the buttons and all work but the redstone in the back is not all lit up. Is it suppose to be?
-
It doesn't drown the chickens for me... and the lava doesn't hit the chickens either... I did the exact build but doesn't kill the chickens :(
-
is this okay if I use a spawner of chicken??
-
I got a problem: When the chickens lay eggs, they will go into the chest and not into the dispenser. Help? Did I do something wrong? Oh and BTW, the leaver points down.

-
how do u get chickens In the spot to get cooked?
-
unfortunately, this doesn't work so great for console edition. Sure, all the mechanics work just fine, but the problem with us is we're all restricted on how much of something we can breed. rabbits and chickens are given a set limit between 12 and 16 total. after that, the breeding is halted and love mode can't happen. nor will anymore chicks hatch from eggs. i suppose it could still work, just not as a constant.

Works astoundingly well in the latest snapshot 16w32b in hardcore. Now if I ever find a village, I will have something to trade! I think you would need a quick trigger for the lava if you wanted cooked chicken however. I am not using the cooker part so it is perfect!

It is still working but use lever no buttons they are faster so you get drop

When thrown, an egg has a 1⁄8 chance of spawning a chick. If this occurs, there is a 1⁄32 chance of spawning three additional chicks (on average, 1 out of every 256 eggs will spawn 4 chicks). In other words, whenever an egg is thrown, there is a 31⁄256 chance of spawning 1 chick and a 1⁄256 chance of spawning four chicks.
The expected value of the number of chicks an egg produces is 35⁄256 or 0.137. This means that on average, spawning a single chicken requires 7.3 eggs, a stack of 16 eggs will spawn 2.1875 chicks, and a full inventory including the hotbar (36*16=576 eggs) will spawn approximately 78.75 chicks.

this is almost useless now -
His intro is soooo cool :)

Ok having builts this in 1.10 it is IMPORTANT to note and this wasnt explained in the video..
If you want to cook the chicken then to need to click the lava on then off right away this cooks but doesnt destroy the chicken meat... otherwise you end up with just feathers if you leave the laval on... leaving the water on is fine however if you want just raw chicken :) -
The lava isn't coming out. :-( (I'm on a Xbox 360)
-
Sometimes when my chicken make 2 eggs with practically no difference in time the dispenser gets clogged
-
really good farm!!
