Farms: Fully Automatic AFK Tree Farm - 6,000 wood / hour - Auto Breaking!
Productivity | Information | History | View | Quality
If you already watched my video on keeping the wither contained and using it to break blocks, you know how I got this to work. Works perfectly in 1.6.2, 1.6.4, 1.7, 1.8 snapshots, and most likely in 1.8 official (you just need to replace the wood block right above where the tree is spawned to iron / stone) Anyway: After nearly a week of work, I came up with a way that can break the blocks with 100% safety. Thus by adding in a nice compact wood farm you get a beast that processes trees at roughly 1 tree / 2.5 seconds. IN THE END: Design is only 15x19 area, 12 blocks high In 1 hour it produces: . +140 apples . +140 saplings . +6500 blocks of wood . -6200 bonemeal (uses up). Build this next to a skele spawner / auto kill farm, thus allowing you to farm bones at the same time as you use up the bonemeal for farming wood. Hope this solves all wood related problems. - Finally, if anyone wants it, here is the download link to the map(s): http://www.mediafire.com/download/3lozbi48chit3nv/Automatic_Wood_Farm.zip Dan

-
so in 1.11 do you use stone or wood?
-
*Thinks about other planned redstone creations* *Looks at redstone reserves like empty wallet* o-o
-
it worked until i tried to put the snowgolom down. it just kept on dieing
-
somebody make schematic PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! :(((((((((((
-
thanks it worked half way until it blew up the rest of my world in the house
-
what else can you use for the snow golem because mine keeps dying
-
works in 1.11?

Its actually semi-automatic, in minecraft its impossible to make a fully automatic wood farm without mods. Still an amazing design though, I'll have to try it :)
-
Good like
-
man if only there was a way to automatically convert bones into bonemeal without player interaction or a mod. I would just build this next to my afk skeleton spawner farm and be set.
-
Nice, i must do this on a Online server and sell it to the state, i whould be Millionare! Thanks bro!
-
Omg thanks so much
-
Not practical in the slightest. By not being afk and having a well organized tree structure, you can get more than 6000 wood per hour. And you do not need to use up an extremely large quantity of bone-meal, instead you can just use a an axe...

Let's talk: the most simple to build automatic wheat farm currently today as of 2016 but then lets also say you get a 10x10 grid room equal to 100 tiles free of use with the only thing forbidden is to go out of bounds to 10x1X or 1Xx10 and let me draw up the map for ya

Now here's the asked to be included to be understood better exception is if say your on row 4 and across ur on 5 but 4x5 tile your going to add red stone/lever/signs/buttons then take the time to say 4x5r for 5th block of the 4th Column to be added (r)edstone on top of. But if your saying 4x5r although you mean 5th column on the 4th block to add red stone, then be sure to perfect that inaccuracy.
For the trolls: bad grammar? Sorry - I'm just autistic with asphergers.
Bad punctuation? I apologize, I'm not the cleanest English vocabulary. Fair/even?
Can't understand what I wrote simply not followed by an insult, I'll try to clear up the fog that hides the use of my proper English. -
This is technically semi-auto, but im not complaining. Maybe dispensers should be able to plant saplings on the block above.
-
can i use cow and pig instead of snow golem?
-
"works in nether" , u used water ...
edit: You cant make that farm either in savanna or desert because the snowgolem will die -
this is a good idea but I pay on a server where u can't spawn mob bosses

Why use an automatic clock for the bonemeal? that's a ridiculous waste, set up a BUD that detects when you place a sappling, that then allows the automatic clock to kick on spamming bonemeal until the tree grows, (rig the BUD's output to ignore this activation, maybe every other BUD activation goes to allowing the clock to activate the bonemeal), then the tree being moved away could reset everything.
