Our professor in Gastronomy arranged an interesting excursion. We went to a free rang organic chicken farm as well as a winery. It was like a culinary fieldtrip for me and my classmates who are chefs and foodies. the thumbnail man! aahahaha
Organic produce is not more nutritious nor does it taste better (multiple scientific studies prove this), and chemical levels such as pesticide are negligible. for full info go to the channel "The Checkout" and search the video on organic.
Basic economics: Organic produce is more expensive due to restricted supply/output from. Supply restriction is due to nature of organic certification standards, such as certain amount of chickens per hectare, grass more expensive than grain and produces less fat/weight animals, etc.
Paying substantially more for organic is NOT by any means an indicator of the benefit received from eating organic.
