Great film.

Awesome. Going vegan was the best thing I ever did :)

I call bull. It's not in meat or dairy. . . or maybe it partially is. It's in the GMO food we're eating. Corn, wheat, soy. . . all of this is crap food. It's in the drugs they pump into the cattle and the GMO foods we feed them. It's the fluoride and other worthless chemicals we put into our water supply in order for companies to make money off of their waste products. Saying that just animal products are causing all of this is a load of crap. It's a huge combination of things - mostly based on greed.

In the long run you are saving money by avoiding hospital trips. Hospitals (and medicine, etc.) are expensive!
-
True, watch the whole documentary and then do your own validation if necessary, the research is available if you want to look it up.
-
Watch the complete documentary. He is talking about a lab experiment in which cancer cells were 'turned' off on a diet of 5% casein (animal protein) vs. 20%.
-
Great information, I believe it has merit.
-
unfortunately true. People get touchy when you threaten their bacon supply.

I thought that eating a vegan, whole food, organic diet would be expensive too...but I save so much my not buying meat, eggs, milk, and processed foods that it is actually SAVING me money now....especially since I grow my own herbs, veggies, and strawberries, and I make everything from scratch. I have always been a vegetarian, but after this movie I cannot deny the health, environmental, and ethical benefits of this diet. Keep up the good work.
-
this has changed my life and a bunch of my friends and family as well . thank you
-
It is not as expensive as you might think.

Please watch Esselstyn's "Make Yrself Heart Attack Proof" & McDougalls presentations. Also, those of Campbell's regarding The China Study for more 'in depth' details. Think a WHOLE plant food based diet w/ (high sugar content) fruit in moderation W/OUT ALL dairy, meat, eggs & added oil. Take care w/ high fat nuts/seeds/fruit so as to limit total fat% ~10%. The Engine2Diet is a great regimented start, as are McDougall's recipes w/ brn rice or potatoes, etc to fill the balance of caloric needs.

It is a myth that eating healthy is more expensive than processed and fast foods.
-
There are plenty of vegan calcium sources, most leafy green vegetables have a very high content of calcium, just google it. if you need healthy foods, i do not see why you still eat animal products...

This film has completely changed the way my husband and I eat, we became immediate converts right after seeing the film, it just made so much sense and you can't argue with the facts presented. We are already feeling the benefits. Thank you for making such an informative and educational film!

Isn't this lifestyle only a possibility for those who can afford it? This lifestyle is great and I believe it works, but it is only available to those who can afford quality produce on a regular basis. It is available to those who have the education to come across this concept.

Very influential film, I have become vegetarian because of it and am happy I did so. I do have some concerns, however, such as why the Inuit who eat only meat yet have no cardiovascular disease. Also why in France they eat a lot of cheese yet have low incidences of heart problems compared to the USA. It seems most issues of disease are related to processed foods.
-
I'd love to do this but had a heart transplant as a baby and need certain foods and drinks healthy that they don't allow my calcium is pretty low so when they say No milk I'm like crap.

Im Vegan? Nothing weak about me.
