To all citizen's. please vote to regulate the politicians, government officials and on all levels.
-
Schlicting Century farms now shut down near Sherwood. Sad. It will be missed.
-
Unfortunately, they are. Some of the problem is state regulations, but some of it is federal, and it's getting worse all the time. The only way to change it s by letting more and more people know what's happening, and vote out the bureaucrats who are letting this happen -- or, worse, making it happen. Write to your legislators and tell them this is not what America is supposed to be about.

I'm a CA farmer looking to move out of CA because of this sort of thing. I was thinking or OR, but I guess you guys have the same issues. I guess bureaucratic idiots are everywhere.

Southern Oregon - It was filmed in Josephine and Jackson Counties.

which part of oregon is this at?
-
stop raising animals and stop eating them. veganism is the wave of the future. you probably have tapeworms in your brains.........
-
All your knowledge is really beside the point as far as i'm concerned whats more important to emphasize at this point in our agricultural development and evolution is that we should be growing mass hectares of HEMP as a cover crop and also for food, fiber and many other things! Not only hemp, but other crops as well, and it can all be being done organically. Also, factory farming and farming of animals should be done, meat eating, killing animals for food, this should all stop. GO VEGAN!
-
What the hell? Surely the organic and grow your own movement has made the agricultural industry more lucrative for the family farmer? If Gov is running off small farmers under these restrictions how profitable is it for big business?
-
I'm moving to Texas where crap like this doesn't happen, Oregon is going to have to pay for it's policies. I certainly won't give those crooks another dime of my money.

Oregon is full of dependent idiots who have no clue how any of this affects them I am ashamed of this state and cannot wait for a chance to escape this sinking ship.
I am a farm boy from Denmark but its many years ago I dealt with farming. I was instantly on a mover or baling since I had been on a tractor since I was 5. That was normal in DK that 5 years steered the tractor in potatoes and at the end I honked the horn and dad would jump in and take over til I was big enough to reach the clutch!
Enough of that but Bill told me that it was so difficult to run a cattle ranch because of regulations and underqualified people (Same as in Denmark) People that take an education solely on their belief disregarding common sense!
I agree the environment shall be protected but not at all costs since humans needs food! IT IS NOT for fun that farmers spray and fertilize. It cost their pants every year but they have to!
The world would be a lot better if you could just seed something for your family and some barley for beer but 7.500.000.000 people can not live on electronics!
Am I wrong?
