North Dakota is one of nine states with anti-corporate farming laws that ban large companies from engaging in agricultural production. North Dakota’s citizens recently voted overwhelmingly to keep those laws in place. RT America’s Alexey Yaroshevsky reports that despite the vote, the North Dakota Farm Bureau plans to fight the anti-corporate farming laws in court. Gay rights, womens rights, civil rights, union rights: Conservatives say "Liberals couldn't win at the ballot box so they went through the courts. Shameful. Trying to shove their agenda down the people's throats."
Corporate rights: Conservatives say "We couldn't convince these uneducated, ignorant bumpkins that our agenda is best for them so lets go through the courts. We'll force feed them their medicine." -
Great job North Dakota, please keep your guard up on these evil corporations, they probably will be back later, these devils don't seem to go away. The evil corporations want to destroy your food supply and contaminate it with evil GMO's and chemicals that cause health problems and cancer.I wish other states would fight hard against corporate farming and ban it.Food is very important to everyday life, don't let the evil corporations or the evil corrupt government control it.I am for Family farming and small independent farms all the way.

being a north dakota farmer, the overwhelming no vote doesn't surprise me, the voters of north dakota are very well informed...doonchaknow.

Go North Dakota don't give into corporate BS.

Rock on ND!
-
Shame on you, RT America. Why are you running ads for airbnb, a company that operates vacation rentals in the Israeli settlements, settlements built on the land of Palestinian family farmers like those in North Dakota?
-
Although an anti-corporate farming bill passed. The Republican nominee for governor is going to push for the corporate farming to go ahead if he is elected.
-
Monsanto just took a kick in the teeth...nice .
-
way to go ND now its time to working on getting rid of scum bags who wrote that bill
-
You have to 'discriminate' every time you make a decision...
-
The corporate, alphabet, mainstream news media suits will say " How dare those peasant uneducated family farmers vote against us?!!!" I'm happy North Dakota has this law because if corporations take over all farms, they can set any price they want.

Alexi speaks as if he's from North Dakota, with a Low German dialect/diction. Or he's European and makes a great farmer ventriloquist.

About time you a good story RT

Excellent report! Good news for North Dakota and American farmers everywhere. Hopefully other states & their citizens will follow up with yet even more anti-corporate farming laws. Now is the time to get the GMO labeling in & on all of the foods eaten or coming into the US.

Uneducated, North Dakota has probably the most educated people per capita. Or it would seem 24% of people are under educated about corporations and the evil they wrought upon the people.

Unlike the other 49 States~? The State owned Bank of North Dakota handles the bulk of the states lending.. Wall Street Bankers earn no interest from the hardworking people of North Dakota..
