I was visiting Pedro Clemene Unson's Farm in Laguna, Philippines with my wife and the Philippine Rare Fruit Society where Ped was using Passionfruit to shade his tropical fish farm and giant passionfruit to shade the area where we had lunch. Ped is a teriffic farmer where he follows sustainable farming practices with his commercial vegetable production as well as his fruit trees.

The Passionfruit (Yellow or Red round fruit) is called "Pasenarya" in Luzon Island of the Philippines.

In Tagalog elders, it is called "GARANADINA" or "PAPAYANG BAGING". The large fruit of Garanadina can be cooked as vegetables!
