Do you have a link to Thomas of France website? Thanks
-
Yes i seen in the BFA Bulletin, can i ask why? you can reply through my website honeybeeproducts.co.uk
-
just had a look at Thomas, I think they might of stopped selling them but thanks anyway. I'm really jealous of your setup it looks great, i have posted a video on a new hive in the UK have a look and tell me what you think

Hi, Can you tell me what sort of uncapping machine you have, also you blow a lot of Bee out of the supers and you only put one super back on is this how you leave them? or do you put another super on
-
where can I get an extractor to buy or can I make it What the size of your pan
-
I notice that you're using all plastic frames. What kind of experience have you had with these? I've seen mixed reviews. Everything from "the bees hate them and won't draw" to "most convenient thing ever and the bees draw because they've got nothing else". Do you mind giving me your thoughts on this? Thanks.

Great to know. Thanks for the advice. So if I am starting off with 2 hives (as a beginner) then I should have enough supers for 4 hives so that everytime I extract them then I immediately replace them. That is if I understood you correctly. Thanks again for you helpful advice. Much appreciate!
-
thanks for getting back to me. so do you have to replace the extracted supers with empties or will the swarm gather down in the brood chambers or hand out outside until you put back the original supers? sorry for all the questions but i am researching right now before i become a beekeeper. thanks again
-
so where do the bees go after you blow them out of the supers? Is there a limit to how many you can blow out in one session? Like do you blow out half your hives and leave the others alone? Thanks!
-
Have you been affected by colony collapse disorder, and do you think its hype only or is it really an epidemic? I am researching this field as I want to be a beekeeper, but it sounds like a very risky investment. Thanks!

Honey nevers goes bad! It's amazing! It hardens a bit when it's cold but you can heat it if you want it liquid again. Sorry for the bad english! :)

No its not, in fact its a blower. I also wanted to tell you an alternative of blowing bees. You can use a board to seperate boxes, you wait a week for this board to do its job. Basically its a board that lets the bees go down through the hive but wont let them go back up. It keeps them away from the box. Just take the whole box into your house and start extracting. I find the bees really didn't like the blowing so i used this board ( i believe its called an extracting board). Try it out!

Hey! That honey doesnt "Beelong" to you... X3
-
Oh sorry I missed one question. Is it true that honey never goes bad or spoils? Thanks again!

Just a few questions for you: How long does it take to spin all the honey out of those frames in one spinning? How many pounds do you get on average out of one hive, and how many hives do you have? Thanks!
